I wonder how many of you would agree with this quote:
“Relationships are hard. It’s like a full time job, and we should treat it like one. If your boyfriend or girlfriend wants to leave you, they should give you two weeks’ notice. There should be severance pay, and the day before they leave you they should have to find you a temp.” ~Unknown
If you believe that relationships are hard, then they probably are hard for you. I would like to share with you that you can change your mind. Relationships do not have to be hard. They just require attention and love.
If relationships are based on getting energy, security, or anything from your partner they can definitely be a struggle, a tug of war perhaps, hidden behind the mask of love.
However, if you are open to spiritual intimacy and your relationships are –as Tantra teaches us – based on tapping into a higher, unlimited source of spiritual energy and consciousness, then they become rich with pleasure and moments of deep connection. Love making becomes a sacrament which brings you joy and higher pleasure that satisfies you on all levels: physical, emotional and spiritual.
The need to get energy from others through control, manipulation, and dependency, is replaced with an experience of trust in unlimited divine love and abundance. This becomes the foundation for a true Tantric relationship, wherein the energetic merging opens the channels for deepened connection.
