It’s interesting how “love” can turn to hate… Or is it even love in the first place?
The National Enquirer announced today that singing star Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Ojani Noa is releasing a sex tape of her. And of course, they had first look at it. Noa is Lopez’s first husband, whom she married 12 years ago, and the tape was shot during their marriage. J Lo is fighting in court to prevent the tape being released.
I believe that when you really love someone you want the best for them no matter what happens. Even if you later discover that the person you “love” cannot fulfill your wishes, you don’t turn around and become vengeful.
Instead, you feel your feeling of disappointment, and forgive yourself for having believed in the illusion that you could control or own that person. No one who has any sense of self-esteem can be controlled. It’s painful to discover some truths we don’t like, but it helps us grow.
Someone as jealous and vindictive as J Lo’s ex-husband is showing that he does not really know how to love. If his emotions for J Lo during their marriage had been truly love, he would not be trying to hurt her now in this way, or trying to profit and make money by hurting her. He is proving that he was just enamoured by her and wanted to possess her.
I believe that an introduction to Tantra might give him a glimpse what love really is.
